TRIALS

  • Yes we do! Just book a class from our schedule and choose the Free Trial Class package.

    If you are below 18, you will need a parent/guardian to register for you.

  • For individuals under 18, parents/guardians must register for a class via our app on behalf of their children/wards.

    Unaccompanied minors will not be allowed to participate if they have not been registered beforehand.

  • Please choose from classes labeled “Trials Welcome” on our Classes page.

    Classes for ages 5 - 17 are all beginner friendly as they are foundation programs.

  • Of course. Just drop us a message and we’ll help you match the class/es best suited to your needs and goals.

BOOKINGS

  • We recommend downloading our app in App Store or Google Play for the best booking experience.

    You can also sign up and log in via the Schedule or Pricing pages on our website.

  • Our classes open for booking 7 days in advance, and can be cancelled up to 6 hours before class time.

  • We understand that overtime and other commitments may crop up unexpectedly, so we try to leave a grace period for special circumstances.

    Please note you may be refused entry at the Instructor’s discretion to ensure the class is not unduly disrupted or delayed for your fellow members.

  • If you’re already a member and forgot to book your class, you’re welcome to drop in and try your luck! Just know that you may be turned away if the class is at maximum capacity.

    If you’re new, please do not attend class without first making a booking in our app.

POLICY

  • Cancellations can be made via the app up to 6 hours prior to the booked class.

    If you have booked a class and do not show, 1 session will still be deducted as if you have attended. Please note that if you are late, you may not be allowed to join the class and will be considered a no-show as well.

  • Yes, on a case by case basis. Please note supporting documentation is required in the form of a medical certificate and/or doctor’s letter indicating the needed period of recovery.

    Please be sure to request your extension while your package is still active. Extensions will strictly not be granted on expired packages.

  • Please note we do not offer extensions for anything other than medical reasons. This includes, but is not limited to, public holiday closures, student exchange programs, and travel.

  • We accept contactless payments via Credit Card/Debit Card, PayNow, and GrabPay in our app. Cash payments are not supported.

    Kindly note all payments are non-refundable.

SAFETY

  • Our classes are taught within a controlled environment with padded flooring as well as personal protective equipment (such as shin and groin guards). Coaches are also trained with the safety of their students foremost in mind - rest assured you’re in good hands.

    That being said, please understand that martial arts and self defense classes do come with an element of risk due to the nature of combative training.

  • We strongly suggest checking in with your doctor before joining our sessions (or starting any training regimen for that matter).

    That being said, you’re welcome to book a trial class and step out at any time you feel discomfort from your condition/injury.

    Please also declare your condition / injury with us prior to class, so that our Instructor can be aware (and possibly substitute certain exercises to suit your situation).

  • You will be more than okay! The best thing you can do is book a trial class so you can judge for yourself/your child, and so our coaches can assess how best to support your/their progress. If you’re still unsure, just drop us a message with your concerns - we’re here to help.

  • Absolutely, most of our current members started from ground zero. Our classes are designed to work for a variety of skill and fitness levels, with coaches committed to helping you achieve your goals.

    All we ask is that you leave your ego at the door, no matter what background you have.

CLASSES

  • Our group classes are designed for a maximum of 20 pax, and require a minimum of 1 pax to run.

    Should there be no bookings within 12 hours of the class start time, the session will automatically be erased from our schedule for the day.

  • Yes we do! Just send us a message with your requirements (e.g. number of participants, location, preferred class type, preferred coach) for a quote.

  • All our coaches are open to personal training, depending on availability. Our hourly rates are $150 for 1-to-1 sessions and $250 for 2-to-1 sessions, with a 10% discount on purchases of 5 sessions and above. Please email us to arrange a session.

  • No, we only hold physical classes. Due to the interactive nature of martial arts and self defense, in-person classes are the best way for us to effectively teach proper technique.

PACKAGES

  • Students and NSFs are eligible for a 25% DISCOUNT on all Adults Packages. Please whatsapp or email us prior to purchase to receive your personal discount code. Verification will be required.

    If you join with a friend, you will each receive a free session with your first package. As a member, refer someone and both of you get a free session upon their sign up as well. Simply drop us a whatsapp to redeem.

  • All Adults Packages give you full access to the classes available in the ‘18 & Above’ and ‘10 & Above’ categories.

    Kids, Youths, and Teens Packages are single discipline only (e.g. Karate Kids).

  • Adults Packages are not shareable.

    Kids, Youths, and Teens 20 Sessions Packages are shareable with one sibling.

  • Yes you can, subject to approval on a case by case basis. Just email us and we’ll help you out with the necessary arrangements.

GEAR

  • We suggest wearing a t-shirt and a pair of pants/tights that you can stretch comfortably in. Training is barefoot except for wrestling.

    Do note Karate and BJJ Gi are uniformed classes. Newcomers will be provided uniforms for their trial period, but members are required to purchase their own for regular training.

    We also recommend bringing a towel and water bottle. We have a water cooler on premises for refills.

  • Equipment such as boxing gloves and shin guards is provided for trial students, so no worries there.

    If you have and prefer to use your own, you’re welcome to do so.

  • We provide shared equipment for members’ use, but we strongly recommend purchasing your own.

    DECATHLON has affordable and decent starter equipment. If you continue to train long term, you’ll naturally progress to more specialised brands for their design and longevity. We always recommend getting advice from our Instructors on what to buy - they’ve been training for decades so they know what lasts.

  • Please approach your Instructor for their class’ gear requirements. Gi purchases are also made through your Instructor.
